The best practice mute I have ever used.
Since I got my Best Brass practice mute, it is the only practice mute I ever use these days. The fact that it fits into my bass trombone when it's in the case is a really important feature. It is also very light and plays in tune. The practice mute speaks evenly in all registers and it makes my sound very, very quiet - it has no flaws. It is a perfect practice mute. Congratulations on the fantastic design. Because I have had it for so many years, it's probably time for me to order a new one. The rubber is cracked and I have dropped it a few times and it leaks a little. Like an old friend, it shows the sign of its age - like me! - but I keep using it because it has been around the world with me many times and it is so familiar to me. Like an old friend.
