A conversation with trumpeter Ottaviano Cristofoli sparked a project to develop a new C piccolo trumpet. To meet the demands of J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2—widely considered one of the most challenging works in the trumpet repertoire—the ARTEMIS Piccolo in C "Brandenbourg" was born, combining precise intonation with an overwhelming degree of freedom in the high register.

On November 13, 2025, Mr. Cristofoli performed on this model during the Aichi Chamber Orchestra's "J.S. Bach: Complete Brandenburg Concertos." This performance marked the instrument's world premiere. By brilliantly demonstrating its true value on such a prestigious stage, the "Brandenbourg" project reached its definitive "completion."
